AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE HEARING STAFF IN THE NINTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the ninth judicial district court for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to supplement funding for the ninth judicial district court's domestic violence hearing officer and clerk positions. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
