    Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 222

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 2, line 5, after the semicolon, insert “and”.

    2. On page 2, line 8, strike “; and” and insert a period.

    3. On page 2, strike lines 9 through 12 in their entirety.

    4. On page 2, between lines 12 and 13, insert the following subsection:

         “C. The presiding magistrate of a magistrate district where three or more divisions operate as a single court shall receive an annual salary that is seventy-five percent of the annual salary of the chief judge of a metropolitan court.”

    5. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
