AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO DEVELOP, IMPLEMENT AND EVALUATE A BULLYING AND VIOLENCE PREVENTION PROGRAM IN THE GADSDEN INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars    ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to contract for services for the development, implementation and evaluation of a bullying and violence prevention program in the Gadsden independent school district. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
