    Your PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 553

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 22, strike "twenty-four" and insert in lieu thereof "twenty-three".

    2. On page 2, line 11, strike "a" and insert in lieu thereof "the".

    3. On page 2, line 11, after "rate" strike the remainder of the line, strike lines 12 and 13 in their entirety and strike line 14 through "homes" and insert in lieu thereof "at which registered family child providers are reimbursed".

    4. On page 3, line 5, after "activity" insert "to the extent possible within the limits of federal law".,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
