HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 315

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

46TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2004

REQUESTED BY James Roger Madalena

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN BERNALILLO IN SANDOVAL COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the department of environment

four hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($425,000) for water system improvements in Bernalillo in Sandoval county; and

four hundred sixty thousand dollars ($460,000) for improvements at the wastewater treatment plant in Bernalillo in Sandoval county;

• to the department of transportation

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to plan, design and construct drainage improvements on Hill road in Bernalillo in Sandoval county; and

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) for phase 1 improvements on New Mexico highway 313 to improve the public right of way in Bernalillo in Sandoval county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to renovate and plan, design and construct an addition on a historic church building to be used for the municipal library in Bernalillo in Sandoval county;

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) for demolition of existing structure, restoration and excavation of a new swimming pool structure, including installation of a mechanical system and decks, in Bernalillo in Sandoval county; and

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to acquire land for and construct a commuter rail depot and platform for the multimodal transportation center in Bernalillo in Sandoval county.
