HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 1138

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

46TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2004

REQUESTED BY Rhonda S. King

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN TORRANCE COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the seventh judicial district court

twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) to purchase a vehicle for the seventh judicial district court in multiple counties; and

• to the department of transportation

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for road repairs and equipment in Torrance county; and

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to plan, design, engineer and reconstruct the Tajique to Torreon loop and to reconstruct county road 55 in Torrance county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to construct, equip and furnish the medical facility in Estancia in Torrance county;

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to purchase and install equipment for volunteer fire departments in Torrance county; and

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to purchase and equip vehicles for the sheriff's department in Torrance county.
