FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS FOR MORA COUNTY AND THE MORA SENIOR CENTER IN MORA IN MORA COUNTY.

 

 

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

 

to the state agency on aging

 

ninety-two thousand dollars ($92,000) for design and construction of a garage for the Mora senior center in Mora in Mora county;

 

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for the purchase of a food delivery truck for the Mora senior center in Mora in Mora county;

 

eleven thousand five hundred dollars ($11,500) for the purchase of equipment, furniture and kitchen supplies for the Mora senior center in Mora in Mora county;

 

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for improvements and expansion of the Mora senior center in Mora in Mora county; and

 

sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) for the purchase of information technology and office equipment for the Mora senior center in Mora in Mora county;

 

• to the department of transportation

 

eighty thousand dollars ($80,000) for repavement of El Carmen road in Mora county; and

 

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

 

six hundred sixty thousand dollars ($660,000) for demolition of the existing county courthouse and construction of a new county courthouse on the same site in Mora in Mora county;

 

one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) for construction of expanded bays at the Mora fire department in Mora in Mora county;

 

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for the purchase of road equipment for Mora county;

 

eighty thousand dollars ($80,000) for demolition and removal of the old Watrous school house in Watrous in Mora county;

 

forty thousand dollars ($40,000) for the purchase of playground equipment and landscaping for the Watrous community park in Watrous in Mora county;

 

forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000) for remodeling the Ocate community center in Ocate in Mora county;

 

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for land acquisition and construction of a facility for the David Cargo public library in Mora in Mora county; and

 

twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) for the 911 addressing project in Mora county.
