HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 1203

FOR ROAD IMPROVEMENTS IN BERNALILLO, SANDOVAL AND LEA COUNTIES.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the department of transportation

three million dollars ($3,000,000) for improvements on the northwest loop road west of Albuquerque in Bernalillo and Sandoval counties, including planning, right-of-way acquisition, design and construction of a two-lane, all-weather road with minor drainage improvements, starting from interstate 40 in Bernalillo county and continuing north for approximately fifteen miles; and

four million dollars ($4,000,000) for improvements, including to intersections, on New Mexico highway 234 between the Texas state line and New Mexico highway 207 in Lea county.
