HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 1253

46TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2004

REQUESTED BY Pauline J. Ponce

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AT SENIOR CENTERS IN CHAVES COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state agency on aging

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to construct a senior center in Roswell in Chaves county;

six hundred sixty-one thousand nine hundred eleven dollars ($661,911) to construct the Hagerman-Dexter Joy senior center in Chaves county;

thirteen thousand six hundred ninety-four dollars ($13,694) to improve the exterior and purchase and install a cooling system and storage shed at the Midway Joy senior center in Chaves county;

twenty-eight thousand dollars ($28,000) to purchase a van for the senior center in Roswell in Chaves county; and

seventy-three thousand two hundred dollars ($73,200) for equipping and furnishing the New Mexico senior olympics program in Chaves county.
