HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 1254

46TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2004

REQUESTED BY Pauline J. Ponce

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN CHAVES COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to purchase and renovate the radiology building and to purchase equipment for the operation of a radiology clinic for the low-income, uninsured population in Chaves county;

five thousand dollars ($5,000) to purchase a pediment for the Jose Francisco Chaves bust for placement in the county courthouse rotunda in Chaves county; and

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to renovate the cultural and educational center to develop a sound studio and purchase equipment for music and art programs in Chaves county.
