SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 1023

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

46TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2004

REQUESTED BY Rod Adair

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN ROSWELL IN CHAVES COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the fifth judicial district court

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) for furnishings and equipment for the fifth judicial district court building and the magistrate courts in Roswell in Chaves county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to purchase equipment for the fire department in Roswell in Chaves county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to purchase equipment for and renovate the office occupied by the state police in Roswell in Chaves county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for improvements to the animal shelter in Roswell in Chaves county; and

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to purchase equipment and information technology for the police department in Roswell in Chaves county.
