SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 77

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

46TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2004

REQUESTED BY Stuart Ingle

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AT EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY IN ROOSEVELT AND CHAVES COUNTIES.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university

ninety-five thousand dollars ($95,000) to purchase a bus for use by student-athletes, coaches and staff at eastern New Mexico university in Portales in Roosevelt county;

one hundred forty-five thousand dollars ($145,000) to purchase and install instructional communications equipment, including information technology, a public address system and editing bays, at eastern New Mexico university in Portales in Roosevelt county;

forty-three thousand dollars ($43,000) to purchase and install bleachers for the Lewis Cooper arena at eastern New Mexico university in Portales in Roosevelt county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to purchase and install portable bleachers for the soccer and track programs at eastern New Mexico university in Roosevelt county;

sixty-nine thousand four hundred dollars ($69,400) to purchase and install graphic arts technology and equipment at eastern New Mexico university in Portales in Roosevelt county; and

one hundred fifty-one thousand dollars ($151,000) to upgrade, purchase and install technology and related infrastructure to deliver coursework to students in outlying areas for eastern New Mexico university in Roosevelt and Chaves counties.
