FOR ACQUIRING WATER RIGHTS AND PROPERTY FOR EXISTING DRINKING WATER SYSTEMS AND TO SUPPORT ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS IN CIBOLA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay project be funded:

• to the office of the state engineer

seven million five hundred thousand dollars ($7,500,000) to acquire water rights and related property to be used in the existing drinking water systems serving Grants, San Rafael and the Pueblos of Acoma and Laguna and to support economic development projects in Cibola county.
