FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN THE NEWCOMB CHAPTER OF THE NAVAJO NATION IN SAN JUAN COUNTY.

 

 

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

 

to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs

 

four hundred fifty thousand dollars ($450,000) to construct a multipurpose building in the Newcomb chapter of the Navajo Nation in San Juan county;

 

four hundred fifty thousand dollars ($450,000) for an addition to the chapter house in the Newcomb chapter of the Navajo Nation in San Juan county;

 

one hundred forty thousand dollars ($140,000) to purchase heavy equipment for the Newcomb chapter of the Navajo Nation in San Juan county;

 

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) for plumbing, individual waterline connection and wastewater facilities to thirty-six homes in the Newcomb chapter of the Navajo Nation in San Juan county;

 

three hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($375,000) to provide electrical powerline extension and house wiring to twenty-five homes in the Littlewater East area in the Newcomb chapter of the Navajo Nation in San Juan county;

 

four hundred fifty thousand dollars ($450,000) to provide house wiring and electrical power source to eleven households in the Chaco Wash area in the Newcomb chapter of the Navajo Nation in San Juan county; and

 

sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) to establish a community veterans' park in the Newcomb chapter of the Navajo Nation in San Juan county.
