SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 1060

46TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2004

REQUESTED BY Carlos R. Cisneros

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN THE PUEBLO OF TAOS IN TAOS COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the department of transportation

two hundred forty-four thousand dollars ($244,000) for road improvements for the Pueblo of Taos in Taos county; and

• to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs

seven hundred fifty thousand dollars ($750,000) to plan and design a drainage system along the Rio Pueblo river in the Pueblo of Taos in Taos county;

six hundred eighty-three thousand seven hundred dollars ($683,700) to plan, design and construct phase 2 of an addition and equipment for the community center in the Pueblo of Taos in Taos county;

one hundred fifty-six thousand six hundred sixteen dollars ($156,616) to repair the roofs of the governor, war chief and administrative offices in the Pueblo of Taos in Taos county;

four hundred sixty thousand one hundred eighty-six dollars ($460,186) to plan, design and construct a tribal court building in the Pueblo of Taos in Taos county; and

ninety-three thousand nine hundred eighty-nine dollars ($93,989) to plan, design and construct a tribal realty office in the Pueblo of Taos in Taos county.
