    Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 83

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 3, line 16, after the period insert "In determining the appropriate licensure level for an applicant, the department shall adopt rules to consider verified employment as a certified professional in a clinical or parallel setting in lieu of experience in a school setting.".

     2. On page 5, line 5, strike “and” and insert in lieu thereof “or”.

     3. On page 7, line 14, after “of” insert “the three-level licensure system to include”.

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
