    Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE EDUCATION COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR

HOUSE BILL 115, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 4, lines 4 and 5, strike "or other physical activity".

    2. On page 4, line 9, strike "and" and insert in lieu thereof the following new paragraph:

             "(7) one-half unit in New Mexico history for students entering the ninth grade beginning in the 2005-2006 school year; and".

    3. On page 4, line 10, strike "(7)" and insert in lieu thereof "(8)" and strike "eight" and insert in lieu thereof "seven and one-half".
