AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE COLLEGE ASSISTANT MIGRANT PROGRAM TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred sixty thousand dollars ($160,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to fund the college assistant migrant program to support the educational needs of migrant and seasonal farm workers. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
