AN ACT

RELATING TO PUBLICATIONS; REQUIRING NEWSPAPERS TO PRINT SHORT OBITUARY NOTICES AT NO COST.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. NEWSPAPERS--OBITUARIES.--All newspapers of general circulation published in New Mexico shall print in one issue of the newspaper, upon request and at no charge, an obituary notice not exceeding a single column, one inch in length.
