AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A COMPREHENSIVE HYDRO-GEOLOGIC STUDY OF THE SACRAMENTO MOUNTAINS.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to pay for the comprehensive hydro-geologic study of the Sacramento mountains by the Otero soil and water conservation district. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
