    Your CONSUMER AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 344

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 22, after "schools" insert a comma and "bureau of Indian affairs schools, grant and contract schools and mission schools operating on reservation land".

     2. On page 2, lines 13 and 14 and strike Paragraph (5) in its entirety.

     3. Renumber the succeeding paragraphs accordingly.

     4. On page 3, line 21, after "department" insert "and all pueblo and other tribal Indian education departments".

and thence referred to the EDUCATION COMMITTEE.
