    Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 348, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 9, line 20, before the period insert:

"or to dry-cooled power plants whose units have a combined power rating of three hundred twenty-five megawatts or less and for which all required air and water permits have been issued before October 1, 2006".

    2. On page 9, between lines 24 and 25, insert the following section to read:

    "Section 3. EFFECTIVE DATE.--The effective date of the provisions of Section 1 of this act is January 1, 2006. The effective date of the provisions of Section 2 of this act is July 1, 2005.".
