AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE OF THE DISTRICT ATTORNEYS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two million six hundred two thousand two hundred twenty dollars ($2,602,220) is appropriated from the general fund to the administrative office of the district attorneys for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to provide for parity salary adjustments for attorneys in the district attorney offices. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
