    Your TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 806

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 9, line 22, after "permit" strike the remainder of the line, strike lines 23 through 25 in their entirety and on page 10, strike line 1 in its entirety and on line 2, strike "commission".

    2. On page 15, between lines 22 and 23, insert the following new section to read:

    "Section 5. EFFECTIVE DATE.--The effective date of the provisions of Sections 1 through 3 of this act is July 1, 2005.".

    3. Renumber the succeeding section accordingly.

and thence referred to the TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE.
