    1. On page 3, line 19, strike "DISTRICT".

    2. On page 3, lines 23 and 24, strike "the district court, magistrate court or metropolitan court" and insert in lieu thereof "a court of competent jurisdiction".

    3. On page 4, lines 4 and 5, strike "the district court, magistrate court or metropolitan court" and insert in lieu thereof "a court of competent jurisdiction".

    4. On page 4, line 12, strike ", the owner may".

    5. On page 4, line 13, before "admit", insert "the owner may".

    6. On page 4, line 17, before "within", insert "the animal control authority may,".

    7. On page 4, line 18, strike "district".

    8. On page 5, line 5, after "and", insert "the animal control authority".

    9. On page 5, line 6, strike "district".

    10. On page 5, lines 7 and 8, strike "the animal control authority may humanely destroy the dog" and insert in lieu thereof "the court shall immediately order the release of the dog to its owner".

    11. On page 5, between lines 8 and 9, insert the following new subsection:

         "F. If the owner admits that the dog is dangerous and transfers ownership of the dog to the animal control authority, the animal control authority may humanely destroy the dog.".

    12. Reletter the succeeding subsection accordingly.

    13. On page 8, line 19, strike "district".
