AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR SEVEN ADDITIONAL FULL-TIME STAFF POSITIONS FOR THE THIRD JUDICIAL DISTRICT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred seventy-four thousand four hundred dollars ($374,400) is appropriated from the general fund to the administrative office of the courts for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to provide seven additional full-time staff positions for specialists and for financial and administrative activities for the third judicial district. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
