AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR YOUTH COMPUTER CLUBHOUSES IN SANTA FE AND BERNALILLO COUNTIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 for Bernalillo and Santa Fe counties to provide staffing and operational expenses for computer clubhouses that give youth ages six to eighteen access to computer technology and to mentors. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
