AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND A COLLABORATION BETWEEN THE NEW MEXICO MAINSTREET PROGRAM AND THE DESIGN, PLANNING AND ASSISTANCE CENTER AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE AND PLANNING.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the economic development department for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to fund a collaboration between the New Mexico mainstreet program and the design, planning and assistance center at the university of New Mexico school of architecture and planning. The appropriation shall be used to implement activities and new initiatives in the New Mexico mainstreet program with the assistance of graduate students. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
