AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE SERVICES FOR NATIVE AMERICAN VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT AND THEIR SERVICE PROVIDERS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred seventy-one thousand seven hundred fifty dollars ($371,750) is appropriated from the general fund to the Indian affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to provide services and outreach for Native American victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and training to the people who provide such services. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
