    Your PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 875

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 2, line 24, strike the period and insert in lieu thereof:

"; except if the member returns to employment as a peace officer or as an employee for a public utility, the member must not have been employed as an employee or independent contractor of an affiliated public employer for at least ninety consecutive days from the date of retirement to the commencement of employment or reemployment with an affiliated public employer.".

    2. On page 3, line 1, after "retirement" insert:

"or ninety days of retirement for retired members who return to employment as a peace officer or an employee for a public

utility".,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
