AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A MARKETING AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR SEVERAL COMMUNITIES OF THE NAVAJO NATION.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the Indian affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to conduct a marketing and economic development feasibility study for the communities of Baca, Thoreau, Iyanbito, Churchrock, Manuelito and Tsa Ya Toh. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
