AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE TOURISM DEPARTMENT TO BRING THE ROLLING RAINFOREST EXHIBIT TO NEW MEXICO.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the tourism department for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to contract with the children's museum of Washington, D.C., to bring its rolling rainforest exhibit to New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
