AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CENTER FOR REGIONAL STUDIES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO FOR GRADUATE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS, INTERNSHIPS, FELLOWSHIPS, RESEARCH GRANTS, DOCUMENTARIES AND LIBRARY COLLECTIONS.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 and subsequent fiscal years for the center for regional studies to provide for graduate student scholarships, internships, fellowships, research grants, documentaries and library collections. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
