AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF NEW MEXICO INSTITUTE OF MINING AND TECHNOLOGY FOR THE TAOS COUNTY AQUIFER MAPPING PROGRAM.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico institute of mining and technology for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 for the Taos county aquifer mapping program to implement phase II of phase III geologic aquifer mapping data collection with the New Mexico bureau of geology and mineral resources of New Mexico institute of mining and technology. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
