AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO PROVIDERS OF PROGRAMS FOR YOUTH ADVOCACY IN GRANT COUNTY AND THE SOUTHWEST REGION OF THE STATE.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Forty thousand dollars ($40,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to contract with a nonprofit entity to improve its facilities for delivering youth advocacy and family skills programs in Grant county and the southwest region of the state. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
