A RESOLUTION

PROPOSING TO AMEND SENATE RULE 11-15 TO PROVIDE EACH SENATOR WITH COPIES OF LEGISLATION ONLY WHEN REQUESTED.

     WHEREAS, the rules of the senate may be amended by a two-thirds' vote of the senators elected or by a majority vote of the members of the senate upon the recommendation of the rules committee;

     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO that Senate Rule 11-15 be amended to read:

"11-15          Following second reading, [the] each bill, resolution and memorial shall be printed in English and a printed copy supplied to each senator who has requested a copy.".
