AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATHEMATICS EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH PROGRAMS AT NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred fifty thousand dollars ($450,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to pay for coordination and expansion of science, technology, engineering and mathematics educational outreach programs. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
