AN ACT

RELATING TO PUBLIC ASSISTANCE; REQUIRING AN APPLICANT TO INCLUDE EMPLOYER INFORMATION WHEN APPLYING FOR PUBLIC ASSISTANCE.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. A new section of the Public Assistance Act is enacted to read:

     "[NEW MATERIAL] The department shall require an applicant to include the name and address of the applicant's employer, if the applicant is employed, on the application form for public assistance."
