AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND EDUCATIONAL FIELD TRIPS FOR PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to purchase and distribute tickets to public school students for an educational trip to a professional basketball game in Albuquerque. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
