    Your BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 689

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 3, lines 4 and 5, strike "date of substantial completion as defined in Section 37-1-27 NMSA 1978 or" and insert in lieu thereof:

"earlier of:

                (1) the date of cessation of work, if the person who is the subject of the action ceases to perform work on the construction site that is the basis for the action for ninety days or more; or

                (2) the date".,

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
