    Your HEALTH AND GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 188

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 8, line 8, after "receive", insert "no more than".

     2. On page 8, line 10, strike "one dollar ($1.00)" and insert in lieu thereof "thirteen thousand seven hundred seventy-seven dollars ($13,777)".

     3. On page 8, line 11, strike "one dollar ($1.00)" and insert in lieu thereof "six thousand eight hundred eighty-nine dollars ($6,889)".

     4. On page 8, line 12, strike "one dollar ($1.00)" and insert in lieu thereof "six thousand eight hundred eighty-nine dollars ($6,889)".

     5. On page 8, line 13, strike "one dollar ($1.00)" and insert in lieu thereof "six thousand eight hundred eighty-nine dollars ($6,889)" and strike the underscored language.

     6. On page 8, line 14, strike "one dollar ($1.00)." and insert in lieu thereof "six thousand eight hundred eighty-nine dollars ($6,889); and".

     7. On page 8, line 15, remove the brackets and line through the comma and insert a bracket.

     8. On page 8, line 20, after the closing bracket, insert "four thousand thirty-one dollars ($4,031).".

     9. On pages 8 and 9, strike Subsections B and C in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof a new Subsection B to read:

          "B. The governing body of a county of the H class shall provide for salaries for the elected officials of the county pursuant to Section 4-44-12.3 NMSA 1978."".
