AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER PROGRAM IN THE COLLEGE OF NURSING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO HEALTH SCIENCES CENTER.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--

          A. Six hundred forty thousand dollars ($640,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal years 2013 and 2014 for the family nurse practitioner program in the college of nursing at the university of New Mexico health sciences center as follows:

                (1) two hundred thirty thousand dollars ($230,000) in fiscal year 2013; and

                (2) four hundred ten thousand dollars ($410,000) in fiscal year 2014.

          B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2014 shall revert to the general fund.
