FOR THE LEGISLATIVE HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE

AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE AGING AND LONG-TERM SERVICES DEPARTMENT TO FUND ADULT DAYCARE SERVICES IN CERTAIN AREAS OF CENTRAL NEW MEXICO.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--

          A. One million dollars ($1,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the aging and long-term services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2014 to fund adult daycare services in the following areas:

                (1) unincorporated areas of Bernalillo county;

                (2) unincorporated areas of Sandoval county;

                (3) Valencia county; and

                (4) Torrance county.

          B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2014 shall revert to the general fund.
