HOUSE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1__ to SENATE BILL 371, as amended

Amendment sponsored by Representative Antonio "Moe" Maestas

    1. On page 2, line 11, strike the second instance of "or".

    2. On page 2, line 12, strike "other related account information".

    3. On page 2, between lines 17 and 18, insert the following new subsection:

         "D. Nothing in this section shall apply to a federal, state or local law enforcement agency. Nothing in this section shall prohibit federal, state or local government agencies or departments from conducting background checks as required by law.".

    4. Reletter the succeeding subsection accordingly.
