AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO TO FUND A GRADUATE-LEVEL "SCHOOL TURNAROUND" PROGRAM FOR PRACTICING SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred forty-seven thousand five hundred fifty-five dollars ($147,555) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2015 to fund data collection and analysis and curriculum development for a graduate-level program addressing school improvement strategies for practicing school administrators. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2015 shall revert to the general fund.
