AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT TO CONTRACT FOR SERVICES TO TREAT VETERANS SUFFERING FROM POSTTRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the human services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2015 to contract for services to treat veterans suffering from posttraumatic stress disorder with modalities used to treat anxiety, pain and other medical problems associated with posttraumatic stress disorder. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2015 shall revert to the general fund.
