Mr. Speaker:

    Your TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 315

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 3, line 12, before "The", insert the subsection designation "A.".

     2. On page 3, line 17, strike the semicolon and the remainder of the line and insert in lieu thereof ", except as provided in Subsection B of this section.".

     3. On page 3, between lines 17 and 18, insert the following new subsection to read:

          "B. From July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2019, to the extent that sufficient funds are available in the motor vehicle suspense fund in a given month, eight hundred thirty-three thousand three hundred thirty-three dollars thirty-three cents ($833,333.33), excluding penalties and interest, shall be distributed to the highway district project fund at the end of each month for a total of ten million dollars ($10,000,000) annually. If in a given month sufficient funds are not available in the motor vehicle suspense fund to make this distribution, the department shall distribute any amount that is available at the end of each month to the highway district project fund."". 

     4. On page 3, strike lines 18 through 25 in their entirety.

     5. On page 4, strike line 1 in its entirety.,

and thence referred to the TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE.
