AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO SCHOOL OF MEDICINE FOR THE PROJECT ECHO PROGRAM TO IMPROVE OUTCOMES FOR PATIENTS WITH HEPATITIS C.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2015 for the school of medicine for the project ECHO program to improve the outcomes for patients with hepatitis C. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2015 shall revert to the general fund.
