    Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 250

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 12, strike "LICENSED SCHOOL EMPLOYEES" and insert in lieu thereof "HIGHLY QUALIFIED ARTS EDUCATORS".

    2. On page 1, line 13, strike "CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION" and insert in lieu thereof "STANDARDS-BASED INSTRUCTION IN KINDERGARTEN THROUGH GRADE TWELVE".

    3. On page 1, lines 22 and 23, strike "to licensed school employees" and insert in lieu thereof "for highly qualified arts educators".

    4. On page 1, lines 24 and 25, strike "classroom instruction on common core subjects and standards-based assessments" and insert in lieu thereof "standards-based instruction in kindergarten through grade twelve".,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.,
