AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CRIME VICTIMS REPARATION COMMISSION FOR SUPPORT, ADVOCACY AND SERVICES FOR VICTIMS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 30, ARTICLE 52 NMSA 1978.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the crime victims reparation commission for expenditure in fiscal year 2016 to fund support, advocacy and services for adult and child victims of human trafficking statewide pursuant to Chapter 30, Article 52 NMSA 1978. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2016 shall revert to the general fund.
